COVID-19 updates for tourism in Pakistan

August 6, 2020: Tourist spots in Pakistan will reopen on August 8th.

The Federal Minister for Planning, Development, Reforms and Special Initiatives, Asad Umar, announced all tourism areas and hotels across Pakistan will reopen on August 8th at a press conference.

All hotels, operators, and tourists will be required to follow COVID safety SOPs (standard operating procedures).

July 18, 2020: Government is closing hotels in Naran, Nathia Gali, Swat, Skardu

Tourists have one day to leave these regions, or else they will be removed from the premises.
